The body of artist Ayşe Şan, whose will "to be buried in Amed (Diyarbakır)" was fulfilled after 29 years, was buried in Yeniköy Cemetery. Women carried the body brought from Izmir on their shoulders with the slogan "Jin, jiyan, azadî (Woman, life, freedom)" until the grave where she would be buried.
Drawing attention to the war between Israel and Iran and stating that the Palestinian-Israeli crisis has created instability in the entire Middle East, researcher and author Ümit Aktaş pointed out that the solution will be provided with the perspective put forward by Abdullah Öcalan with his call.
