Stating that wars between nation states are not a path to the freedom of societies, KJAR said, "Without women, we cannot talk about a free and equal future for the peoples of Iran."Without the presence of women, one cannot speak of a free future for Iran."
The body of artist Ayşe Şan, whose will "to be buried in Amed (Diyarbakır)" was fulfilled after 29 years, was buried in Yeniköy Cemetery.
