NEWS CENTER - HPG announced that the attacks continued during Ramadan despite the ceasefire.
Despite the ceasefire declared by the PKK on 1 March, Turkey's attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. According to the statement of the HPG published in Fırat News Agency (ANF), attacks continued uninterruptedly in many regions including Zap, Avashin, Metina, Khakurke and Gare during the month of Ramadan.
In the statement, the attacks on 27, 28 and 29 March were explained. According to the statement, Gare region was bombed 7 times, Zap region 4 times and Metina area 1 time, totalling 12 times. On 28 and 29 March, Khakurke region was bombed 121 times, Gare region 42 times, Metina region 44 times, Zap region 869 times, in total one thousand 76 times with heavy weapons, artillery and howitzers.
The statement said that the attacks were responded in some regions.
