CHP begins voting for presidency

NEWS CENTER - CHP is organising a primary election to determine its presidential candidate.

 
The Republican People's Party (CHP) is organising a primary election to determine its presidential candidate. The voting process started early in the morning in the primary election in which detained Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamogly is the only candidate. 
 
CHP Chair Özgür Özel said on the virtual media: "Today we will experience a feast of democracy. I invite our members to go to the primary election ballot box and 86 million of our citizens to go to the solidarity ballot box to protect Turkey."
 
CHP members will be able to vote in 5,960 ballot boxes in all provinces and districts.
 
"Solidarity Ballot Boxes" were set up for those who are not CHP members.
