New move by women's movements in North and East Syria

NEWS CENTER - Joint Action Platform of Women's Movements and Organisations launched a movement for women in coastal cities fo Syria. 

Members of the Joint Action Platform of Women's Movements and Organisations of North and East Syria announced in a statement that they launched a movement for women in coastal cities. Political parties, Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazira Region and many women participated in the statement held at "12 March Martyrs Stadium" in Qamishlo city center. 
 
Amina Omar, member of the Women's Coorditaniton for North and East Syria, said, "The responsibility for the massacres in the coastal cities of Syria lies with the current regime, which has enabled gangs such as Abu Emshat and Abu Hatim al-Shakra, who have committed grave crimes against civilians. For the women living in the coastal cities of Syria, we have launched a movement under the slogan 'Support for Syrian Women is the basis for stopping the massacres in the coastal cities'."
 
The women's programme is as follows:
 
* An aid campaign will be launched for victimised women in coastal cities.
 
* Signatures will be collected to make women's voices heard internationally.
 
* Letters will be sent to international organisations to stop the violations and massacres against women in the coastal cities of Syria. 
 
* Demonstrations will be organised to protest the massacres against women. 
 
* Women's marches will be organised to support the women in the coastal cities of Syria. 
 
* Theatre performances and poetry recitals will be held to reflect the suffering of women in coastal cities. 
 
* A workshop will be organised for the attitude of women against the massacre and the constitutional declaration.
 
* A #hashtag campaign will be organised on the last day of the movement.
 
At the end of the statement, a call was made to all Syrian women to support the women in the coastal cities and it was said, "Support the movement to unite our attempts to build an equal and just Syria."
