ISTANBUL - 54 of the 96 people detained due to the Istanbul Courthouse attack were arrested.

 

In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office within the scope of the armed attack on the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, Grup Yorum members, People's Law Bureau (HHB) lawyers, People's Power TV employees, Pir Sultan Addal Culture Association (PSKAD) managers, Detainees and Convict Families Solidarity Association (TAYAD) members, A total of 96 people were detained, 42 people were released. 

 

Those detained were taken to the courthouse yesterday. Among the 96 people who were referred to the Criminal Court of Peace after the prosecutor's statements, 54 people, including Contemporary Lawyers Association (ÇHD) Headquarters manager and HHB lawyer Nazan Betül Vangölü Kozağaçlı, HHB lawyers Seda Şaraldı and Didem Baydar Ünsal, and Ayten Öztürk, who has been under house arrest for two years, were arrested.

 

Some of the arrested names are as follows: “Ayten Öztürk, Gamze Eroğlu, Hakan İnci, Hasan Karapınar, Meryem Özsöğüt, Seher Adıgüzel, Ulaş İnci, Av. Seda Şaraldı, Av. Betül Vangölü Kozağaçlı, Oktay Kelebek, Elif Ersoy, Diyar Ersoy, Nejla Birkoç, Ercan Güneş, Barış Yüksel, Rezzan Şengül, Engin Ateş, Fırat Kaya, Volkan Yığıltekin, Vedat Doğan, Selda Özçellik, Sevcan Akdoğan, Sevda Kurban, Şura Başer, Uğurcan Gün, Zeynep Gonca Karakoç, Aslıhan Buçaklar, Bahar Kurt Kızılaltun, Burak Başer, Merve Kurt, Yeliz Kütük, Özmen Mertkan Çim, Merve Demirel, Cem Dursun, Rıdvan Akbaş, Boran Hurustan, Eren Odabaş, Ali Sinan Çağlar, Cengiz Şahin, Didem Baydar Ünsal, Haydar Alaçam, Kemal Gün, Mehmet Yücetepe, Mehmet Güvel, Melek Akgün, Selahattin Bulut, Şimal Deniz, Yüksel Doğan, Alperen Halil Bilgin, Madımak Özen, Mehmet Vefa Tunga, Uğur Metin ve Mustafa Fındıkoğlu.”
