İSTANBUL -  Kurdish artists Rotînda and Seyitxan, who stated that the games played by the global and regional powers against the Kurdish people and their attacks will be eliminated with national unity, said: " We will have a huge gain in case of national unity."

In the face of the efforts of global powers to redesign the Middle East, the cooperation, plans and games they have developed on the basis of protecting the status quo of regional powers and taking a share make the chaos in the region intractable. The Kurds, who are the targets of the plans and games being played, put forward a great struggle in every field. However, since there is no national unity among the Kurds in four parts, regional and global powers use this as leverage.

While the gains of the Kurds in Northern and Eastern Syria were a great hope for the new century, regional and global powers benefiting from the fragmented situation used it as a leverage against the Kurds. Turkey and the paramilitary groups supported by Turkey, cities like Efrîn, Grê Spî and Serêkanîyê faced major attacks and thousands of people were displaced while these groups took control of the cities. Similar games are now being played over Ain Issa and the Federated Kurdistan Region.

Evaluating the attacks and games played against the Kurdish people, Kurdish artists Rotînda and Seyitxan said that the most important task of all Kurdish parties and organizations is to ensure national unity.

OUR GREATEST TASK IS NATIONAL UNITY

Stating that the most important task of the Kurdish parties and organizations is to ensure national unity, Rotînda said that if national unity is not achieved, the Kurds will lose in the upcoming period as they did in the past. Rotinda said: "The biggest obstacle to the Kurdish National Unity is that some parties put their families, individual and tribal interests to the fore. A people of 50 million are without a homeland, their rights have been taken away, their land is occupied and they are subjected to all kinds of persecution. While Kurdistan is under occupation, nobody should linger on personal interests. Because if we are ever going to win, we will win together, if we lose, we will lose together. In this respect, if unity is not achieved, we will lose life itself. This gives me great pain as a Kurd, not as an artist. We can't complain about what the enemy does. They are the enemy, of course they will do all that they can. But the Kurds must not fall for that, be fooled by that. If we achieve national unity, we will have a huge gain in Kurdistan. Kurds are on the agenda all over the world now. We have the means to success. If we unite, our gain will be greater. We must unite in terms of democracy and national ethics. Our unity is a vital need."

NEW GENOCIDE IN PROGRESS

Stating that due to the increasing attacks, it is a very sensitive period for Kurds, Artist Seyitxan said: "People are sent to prisons every day in political genocide operations in Bakur. Its lands, beauties and values are destroyed. Its language and culture are being banned. People are being murdered for listening to Kurdish music. Things aren't going great in Bashur either. There are attacks and games against Bashur. There are attacks every day in Rojava. There are great pressures in Rojhilat. However, there is also a resistance against it with great willpower. It will not be easy to destroy the gains of the Kurds in this century. For this, it is necessary to see through these games and act on the basis of national interests."

CENTURY OF THE KURDS

Stating that KDP's relations with Turkey puts the Kurdish people in a tight spot, Seyitxan said: "We have some gains in Bashur. KDP destroyed the balance between the parties in Bashur because of its own interests. These  are the steps that prevent the Kurdish struggle in a negative way. This is not acceptable. KDP's relations with Turkey is a threat against the gains of the Kurds. They set up dozens of police stations in Bashur. They are trying to liquidate the Kurdish movement there. They want to destroy the gains. The situation the KDP is in is regrettable. The KDP must once again review its own truth. It must correct its politics. It should use its relations in favor of the Kurdish alliance so that we can win our century together. Kurds have paid enormous prices for a hundred years. Kurds are ready to pay the price for unity as well. This century will be the century of the Kurds."
