ANKARA - Regarding the oppressions on their party and the appointment of trustees, HDP Co- Chair Pervin Buldan said: "I am telling you once again, those who want to bring down HDP will never succeed. HDP have never fell and will never fall. We have never bent our knees, and we never will."
People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Pervin Buldan spoke at her party's group meeting. Buldan made assessments regarding the anniversary of the arrests of former HDP Co- Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, the oppression on their party and the appointment of trustees to their municipalities.
Buldan said: "I am telling you once again, those who want to bring down HDP will never succeed.We will not let it. HDP will continue to stand strong and will continue to struggle with all its might. HDP have never fell and will never fall. We have never bent our knees, and we never will. We never obeyed, and we never will. Because HDP is a sea of struggle. HDP is the sea of the peoples. HDP is the source of hope and courage for all the peoples living in these lands, including all identities, all faiths, all of the supressed, women and youth with its democratic and politic struggle. Hope and courage and determination and success and victory will prevail as long as HDP exists. Our people's hopes for peace, democracy, freedom and justice will never be abandoned or become unclaimed as long as HDP stands with them."
