ANKARA- HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli calling for the international public opinion regardng the prossible operation in North East Syria, said: "We are calling for the international public opinion, the UN the EU; Say stop to Erdoğan's war policies. Not briefly but firmly, say stop!"
People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Sezai Temelli spoke at his party's group meeting.
Temelli said: "Let's say it together. No to war! We don't want war. War is disaster. We are inviting all the people of Turkey to unite and say no to war. We should say no to war just like we did 17 years ago.
If we can't find the strength in us to stand against those who want this war, the destruction will be immense. Our children, the next generations will pay the price of this war. You mothers, the Kurdish mothers and the Turkish mothers whose children will die in war are here. They will keep raising their voices in the parliament for peace. No matter how much they try to block it, they won't be able to block the sound of peace. We want to stop this occupation operation against this war initiative which has no acceptability before the international community. They say ‘finally the war begins’. As if they were giving good news. We don't want this war to start.
In addition, we call on the society, especially the EU and the UN; Stop Erdogan's war policies. Not so briefly. Say stop. Yeah, say stop. Otherwise, this war will not only burn the northern part of the Middle East Syria. It will continue to draw the whole world into this fire."
