Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made a statement via his twitter account, before the military operation against North East Syria.
Çavuşoğlu said: "We have propped up the territorial integrity of this country since the beginning of this crisis in Syria, and we will continue to do so. We are determined to ensure the survival and security of our country by clearing the region from terrorists. We will contribute to peace and stability in Syria.”
MESSAGE TO USA
Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın, reacted to USA that announced they will not prop up the operation against North East Syria.
Spokesperson Kalın tweeting from his account regarding the issue, argued that Turkey is not invading anybody's country. Kalın said: "Within the framework of the territorial integrity of Syria, the safe zone has two aims: to clean up the elements of terrorism, to secure our borders and to ensure the safe return of refugees. Turkey is strong and stable."
Presidential Communication Spokesperson Farhettin Altun said: "Our struggle against terrorism for our future and our independence, continues uninterruptedly outside of our borders as well as inside. The main element of this struggle is the strategy to end terror at its source. Our struggle will continue until we establish peace."
