MARDİN - Delil Tekin who have been kept in Şakran Prison for 7 years, stated that his health issues are going for the worse and the violations of rights are increasing.
Fettah Tekin, father of Delil Tekin who talked to his son yesterday on the phone, said his son said blood is coming out of his ears and they didn't start a treatment on him and that the violations of rights are increasing in Şakran Prison.
Father Tekin who said Şakran Prison is known for its pressures and persecution, said his son's petition for health checks was not accepted by the guardians and his letters are not being given. Father Tekin stated that the detainees in Şakran Prison were deprived of any fundamental rights and that they prohibit the prisoners social rights as well.
Father Tekin who stated that his son was battered the last time he was visited by his cousins, said: "Our children are getting beaten on a daily basis. They are trying to nullify their communication with the outside.
Father Tekin who stated that they submitted their petition to the Ministry of Justice and to the Şakran Prison Prosecutor's Office, said they will not remain unresponsive to the violence their children are being subjected to and called for public awareness.
