NEWS DESK - While the sit- in some families claiming their sons have been abducted and taken to the mountains started continues, some police and gendermerie units are calling the families who reported their children missing and tell them to go join the protest in front of the Diyarbakır HDP Building. 

 

 

HDP executives stated that the families are being sent by the police, while the sit in started by some families claiming their children are taken to to mountains to join PKK continues. While the statements of the families confirm the HDP executives, it was revealed that some police and gendermerie units were established to call the families that reported their children missing and told them to the protest in front of the Diyarbakır HDP Building. 

 

 

A family whose son haven't come home for 2 weeks applied to the police station in Batman. The police who summoned the families to the police station told them that their son have gone to the mountains and they could find him if he still haven't crossed the border. The police also told them that they can look for him through Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) if they actually have crossed the border. 

 

 

Police officers who showed some videos of some young men crossing the border to join HPG (People's Defense Units), wanted the family to identify them. The family who stated that non of those young men is their son, was directed to the protest in front of the HDP building by the police. Police also told the family that HDP Youth Assembly know their son's whereabouts.

 

According to the information obtained, the police officers who interviewed the family are working in Anti- Terror Unit.
