The bar associations that protested the fact that the new Judicial Year Opening Ceremony to be held at the Presidency Complex, have mobilized for a change of administration when the TTB participated in the ceremony. The Board of Directors of the Istanbul Bar Association decided to convene with its delegates to call the TTB to an extraordinary general assembly.

 

İstanbul Bar Association made a written statement in their web site and said: "İstanbul Bar Association Board of Directors decided to call TBB for an extraordinary general assemmbly with its delegates."

 

 

Following the decision of the Istanbul Bar Association, the Antalya Bar Association said they welcomed this decision. President of Antalya Bar Association Polat Balkan stating that the Antalya Bar Association made this call months ago, said: "We take up by our decision. Therefore we welcome this call of İstanbul in a positive manner."
