BATMAN - HDP Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran, reacting to the battering and detention of 19 people , said: "What is happening in Hasankeyf is an indicator of fascism."

 

People's Democratic Party (HDP) held a press release regarding the battering and detention of 19 members of Young Women and Youth Assembly in Hasankeyf.  HDP Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran, HDP executives and members of youth assembly participated in the statement made in Batman province building.

 

Başaran, recalling that fascism is advancing day by day, institutionalizing in every institution, said what's happening here is the indication of fascism. Başaran stating 'To deploy an army for a few teenagers in Hasankeyf is not an indication of power', said: "Strength comes from rightfullness. Despite all these attackers, those young people did not compromise their determination. We, as HDP As these attacks and tortures have not worked in history, they will not work now. ”
