Öcalan's attorneys applied to go to İmralı

İSTANBUL - Attorneys of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan who were able to visit him after 8 years on May 22, made an application to visit him to Bursa Chief Prosecutor's Ofice.

Attorneys Newroz Uysal, Mazlum Dinç, Faik Özgür Erol and Cengiz Yürekli  made an application to Bursa Chief Prosecutor's office for another visit to İmralı High Security Type F Prison.
 
The applications the attorneys  have been rejected for reasons such as "adverse weather conditions", "Coaster is broken" , "state of emergency" and at last "disciplinary penalty since July 27, 2011.
 
Attorneys Nevroz Uysal and Rezan Sarıca was able to visit Öcalan on May 2 and then May 22 after 8 years.
 
 
Bursa 1st Heavy Penal Court abolished the ban on attorney visitation in İmralı on 17 April. Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül made a statement on 16 May and said, “Restriction decisions have been abolished.
