ŞIRNAK - X-ray devices and police cabins were placed in front of the municipalities of Cizre, Idil and Silopi of HDP without written notification by the police. Citizens protesting the decision in Cizre for hours of tensions were intervened. The fact that District Police Chief told Co-chair Mehmet Zırığ 'Yes we are violating the law' attracted attention.
THE STREET OF THE MUNICIPALITY CLOSED TO PUBLIC
Numerous police who closed down the street to traffic and public late last night in Cizre, placed the X-ray devices and the police barriers in front of the municipality building. Municipality Co-chairs Mehmet Zırığ and Berivan Kutlu and the aldermen came in front of the building. Many citizens were gathered in the street where the municipality building is, where a water cannon was kept waiting.
CO-CHAIR ZIRIĞ: THE TRUSTEE CAN NOT ACT ARBITRARILY
The police told that they will place the x ray devices and the police cabins upon an order they recieved. Co-mayor Mehmet Zırığ who reacted to this, stating that the trustee can not act arbitrarily, said 'We will not give into the trustee. The police told that they have a reasoned decision but they are not obligated to show him that.
Zırığ, stating that they haven't recieved any written instructions, and called out to the citizens, 'This municipality is ours. We don't accept that'.
The sama thing happened in Silopi and İdil Municipalities where HDP Has won.
