AMED - Uncle Salim Güran, who was arrested as part of the Narin Güran investigation, has been suspended from his position as mukhtar.
The body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who disappeared on August 21 in Çulî neighborhood of Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed (Diyarbakır), was found on September 8 in Eğertutmaz Creek, about 2 kilometers from the neighborhood. Güran's uncle Salim Güran, who was arrested on September 2 as part of the investigation, was suspended from his position as mukhtar due to his arrest by a decision of the District Administrative Board of Bağlar District Governorate and temporarily appointed as the first deputy.
It is noted that whether Güran's position will be completely terminated will be decided after the final verdict.
