İSTANBUL – Women in solidarity with eachother in Turkey and the world, challenging the states against attacks on women.

 

Women in Turkey took action against the discussions of withdrawing from the İstanbul Convention, femicides and violence against women on social media. Yesterday evening, sharing their photos, women stood up against the attacks on themselves.

 

THEY ARE CHALLENGING THE STATES

 

Using the hashtag #ChallangeAccepted, women shared their thoughts and feelings on women's solidarity and the importance of İstanbul Convention.

 

'WE WILL NOT GIVE UP OUR RIGHTS'

 

The hashtag turned into a wave of rebellion with the participation of represantatives of women's organizations, artists, actresses and women from all professions.

 

Women said 'The indispensable Istanbul Convention will keep us alive' and 'We will not give up our rights and lives' under the hashtag. 

 

WOMEN IN SOLIDARITY

 

Women from all around the world joined the wave and used hashtags like #empoweringwomen, #womensupportingwomen, #Womenlifteachother with the main hashtag #ChallangeAccepted.
