DERSİM - 9 people were detained in Dersim including Berivan Kıt Güngörmüş, who has a 3-month-old baby.

Police forces raided several houses in Dersim early this morning and detained 9 people including DBP (Democratic Regions Party) former administrator Celal Aydın, HDP former provincial organization co-chair Murat Polat, HDP administrators Balaban Turgut and Cemal Güngörmüş, General Provincial Council member Mehmet Ali Yazır and SMF (Federation of Socialist Assemblies) executive Mustafa Ataç.
 
Berivan Kıt Güngörmüş who was also detained in the operation is reported to be mother of a 3-month-old.
 
The operation in Dersim is reportedly continuing and the number of detainees is expected to increase.
