DEM Party delegation goes to Silivri for 'process' talks with prisoners 2025-06-19 12:21:46   ISTANBUL - DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan met with prisoners in Marmara Prison with the agenda of a democratic and peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue.    The DEM Party delegation consisting of Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan and Deputy Co-Chair Mehmet Rüştü Tiryaki met with prisoners in Marmara Prison in Silivri with the agenda of a democratic and peaceful solution to the Kurdish question.   The delegation will meet with Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), Bekir Kaya, former Co-Mayor of Wan (Van), Ahmet Özer, Mayor of Esenyurt, Resul Emrah Şahan, Mayor of Şişli, Can Atalay, Hatay MP of Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP), journalist Ercüment Akdeniz, politicians Halil Aksoy, Nesimi Aday and Ahmet Saymadi.   The meetings will be about the process to be carried out on the basis of the democratic solution of the Kurdish issue.
