The commemoration will start at 15.00 pm local time at Şêx Seîd (Dağkapı) Square.  Peace Mothers came to Amed from Adana and Mersin said that they came to city to “commemorate those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom”. Mothers said: “We demand the release of all prisoners, especially Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. We do not trust the state, but we are hopeful about the on-going process. If the state is sincere, it should give Kurds their rights for an honourable peace. Let us give a stronger voice to Abdullah Öcalan’s call and peace.”
