	In North and East Syria, women held mass demonstrations in many cities on 25 November, International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women. Thousands of women participated in the protests in Hesekê, Qamişlo and Girke Legê cities of Cizre Canton, Kobanê city of Euphrates Canton and Reqa and Tebqa cantons. During the marches, slogans such as "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)" and "No to occupation and violence against women" were frequently raised.&nbsp;
